Inviting the bell to sound is a deep practice of mindfulness. This Monday, December 1st, we will learn the art of inviting the bell. Please bring a bell or bells if you have one. Here is the gatha, or mindfulness verse for inviting the bell.
Body, speech and mind in perfect oneness
I send my heart with the sound of the bell
May hearers awaken from forgetfulness
and transcend all anxiety and sorrow.
And a gatha for hearing the bell:
Listen, listen this wonderful sound
Brings me back to my true home!
