On Saturday, May 2, 2009, we will be meeting at in front of the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri. We will be walking in the native plant gardens surrounding the Discovery Center, enjoying our connection to the Earth and the changing of the seasons.
Somtimes when things change we get frustrated, angry and upset. We don't want it to be different. Or the change isn't the type of change we wanted. But change and impermanence is inevitable. How can WE change our relationship with impermanence and accept change with grace and peace?
In case of rain, please bring an umbrella and rain gear! There is a shelter to the southwest of the Discovery Center building, where we will spend time as needed, if it is raining too hard.
